loove

My love,

The one I won.

Tall and lithe

With smile so wide;

So poignantly bright.

And oh, those hands,

Strong,

And for so long

Hold the sands of time.

So pretty and so wise.

So caring and so nice,

So giving in a trice.

So silent now,

So mute!

My love,

The one I won

Is gone.

My heart, my soul, worn.

Torn apart; wrung ableed.

And on a Sunny day

Empty, this love; this touch;

This warmth, this want.

For my love,

The one I won, is gone!
