I see Edin Heck in my dreams,
Smiling and dazzling like stars
Then I ache to see her again,
And whiff the air that she exhales
Then travel a journey into her eyes
And hear the melodies of her voice
Then stroke her candy body with my eyes,
And draw her close to my soul
All these I wish to do
All these for a life time or two
But then she messes up,
I give just one quick attention
And she ignites a flick of tension
Again, and again, and again,
She steps into the scolding zone
And again, and again, and again,
I scold, though embittered…
Why should it be difficult to express love?
To say the words when you wanted to say them?
To touch with every fibre of your body?
To do for who you love to do for?
To hear the dreams and fears of the one you love?
To make her laugh when she frowns?
To make her never lack or sigh?
To keep her company when lonely and never leave her side?
Why should she and I have personality conflict?
If I had more superpowers, I’d have change . things
But the little I have
Shall be expended
In keeping things as they are,
After all, superheroes make super sacrifices
